I am really very impressed with this storage basket set. All five included in the set are made of thick cardboard and lined too! They are NOT collapsible. My measurements are about the same as hers (although I didn't measure to hundredths of an inch like her). I put him through all sorts of tests. I dropped it from waist height and there was no dent. I splashed water on it and the water stain dried without decomposing. By the way, each basket is very tightly wrapped with something like paper raffia. A gray linen-like cloth lines the inside and outside of the box, and then paper raffia is taped tightly around the basket. I don't think this raffia will bloom any time soon. They all nestle together when not in use. I use them to store clean masks, crafts, and towels in the powder room. The gray color suits any interior. The price is very good for five baskets. As they have been rigorously tested, I recommend them.
