Doesn't quite fit the bill
I bought this to keep my dogs (and the kids too if they were all stuffed in the van) from jumping forward. Well, they don't jump anymore, but since the ropes don't go sideways anymore, they use those "holes" to squeeze through the seat and net to get forward. The dogs weigh 17 pounds and 55 pounds. So unfortunately that doesn't really serve the purpose.
