20 lb hook dropped 14 lb picture
I have used these picture hangers on 7 pictures and a large (14 lb wooden frame) which bent the hook and broke the frame when it was up fell off the wooden floor. Luckily I was able to fix the frame. I made sure to use the correct hanger. I ended up using another 20lb kit and it worked fine. This kit worked great on a lighter frame but the brass bends on heavier frames. It was difficult to get this right as the kit was easy to use and install but the brass was too soft and warped.
