I needed a solution that would allow me to continue listening to wired headphones while charging them at night. Bluetooth headphones are too bulky to sleep on your side. (I'm really surprised that this didn't become a major concern for most users during a focus group where phone design executives decided whether it was possible to get rid of the headphone jack.) So far, so good. With this device I can use my new phone just like my old phone; Listen to music while falling asleep and while charging. Annoying and discouraging that the presence of this adapter is generally necessary. But since the phone makers have gone numb I'm glad it exists and so far it's a good device. I'm thinking of buying a second one to keep one in my travel trunk and the other on my bedside table.
