I actually bought this to go through the gate at work. Outside there are keyboards, inside control is via a magnetic tape or a remote control. I often have to go through this gate so I bought this little remote control so I can do it. Well, let me tell you, this device surprised me like hell! This remote control has a range of over 150 meters! I walked to the end of our property and with this remote control I can open the gate from anywhere. When I drive into the driveway, I can press the button, and when I finally drive through, the gate is wide open. The original remote controls that came with the gate system only had a range of around 20 metres. I no longer use the original remote controls. I bought two more of these so I can have one in each of my cars. This is a great product!
