I'm surprised this speaker didn't get more reviews and ratings. Must be a marketing error somewhere as the look and feel of this thing is superb. The app is only for setup, after that I never touched it again (maybe if you have several - I only have pilots in orange in the kitchen). After setup, you're done. The sound is good, and the best part is the controls, which automatically adjust to playlists on the Spotify homepage. So, I wake up in the morning, turn up the knob, let's say the number 6, press down and immediately hear music. It's easier and faster than using my phone and it's bulletproof. It also syncs to my vintage audio gear via Chromecast. Just wonderful. Also stylish. Design cannot be overpriced.
