I replaced my factory original with my 2012 Silverado Ext Cab. Necessary tools. 10mm socket with extension and wrench. The driver's windows worked, but everything else worked with the driver's master switch. After replacing everything works like new. I might also put silicone grease in the window channels of each window to make the windows go up and down easily and save motors on the road. After everything was ready, I took it apart and put it back together for about 10 minutes. This is part of oem gm.
