We were looking for something that would help a 7 year old stop picking nails/cuticles all day. I gave her one 2 days ago and the next day she told me she left her nails alone for a day and thought the ring really helped. The only downside is that we will fly through these things. I give the teacher a bundle for school, but give out one at a time to the kids at home. You can try to make some kind of thin bracelet and lace to fasten it so they don't get lost right away. But it definitely serves its purpose.
