I bought the smallest size after looking at the size chart. I have a smaller than average 9 year old and 5 year old. These socks do not fit my 9 year old foot. They ended up working for my 5 year old son who luckily also needed red socks. They look good to him except they are longer than average. In general they are of good quality. Better than many other socks I've tried. Thick but breathable. This is the best type for a sports player. If only size weren't so confusing!
