The tuner is set incorrectly; All AM radio stations display a frequency that is not the actual frequency of the radio station. For example, local AM radio station AM 600 is received and displayed as 603. If the displayed frequency is 600 kHz, the station will not be received at all. All stations in the AM band show the same problem, all are received on the displayed kHz frequency which is not the transmit frequency. In terms of reception, the device only receives local stations unambiguously if the device is oriented/rotated in a certain way or physically held in the hand. Very disappointing to have such poor reception without addressing the previously mentioned issue. When cycling, the reception is better when riding from north to south than when riding from east to west. Headphones did not come with foam inserts.
