I just received my Oculus Quest 2 and after printing out the adapter I installed a Vive Deluxe Audio Strap (DAS) on it so I had built in headphones and because I already had them from my old HTC Vive. Since the Quest 2 is portable, I needed a case for it. I didn't want a soft case, otherwise I would have bought a soft case for a DSLR. I wanted a hard case. Enter this beautiful pattern. This case is lined with velvet so you don't have to worry about scratches, with two molded pockets for a puck and a power cord and possibly a power bank. The controllers and connection cable fit into the headband. The headset itself fits. But. Not that one_. Not vertical without forcibly closing the lid, causing the top strap support to conform to the DAS and flexing the case lid. Now I have to double mark it because this case is _supposed_ for the Vive Pro that comes with DAS and uses it. There are clearly shaped places for headphones on the case. But he's not big enough. You could say it has to have a snug fitting lid to hold the headset in place as there are no straps to hold it in place and no top molding/padding to hold the headset. But if they were to be molded to support the shape of the headphones on the DAS, they should have made the lid a bit taller with support foam or headset molding. Since finding a decent hard case for FrankenQuest 2, which is very decent and technically flawed, is PITA, I've docked a star. It is what it is and for the price (mine was $35 plus tax) it works.
