The timer is tricky. For 5 PM to 11 PM, you have to have it turned on, then press the 6 button at 5 PM. It blinks when it receives that signal. The remote can cover several in a row at the same time, but if one missed the signal, you don’t know until it fails to go off at all. I ended up pointing and clicking at each candle one by one, since it doesn’t hurt for them to get the signal more than once.I wish the candles were brighter, and I wish the suction cups held better. Invariably when one fell off, getting knocked made it lose its memory of the schedule, requiring a new click at the next 5 PM.Otherwise, I like them. If they received the timer program and didn’t fall off, they worked correctly night after night.I have 3 sets and will use them again next Christmas. In the meantime, I removed the batteries for storage.
