This road scale worked well. With a £50 checked baggage limit and a £15 cabin baggage limit on a 16 day trip to Italy, we had to check and recheck the weight of our bags many times while trying to get as close to each limit as possible . . It was so easy with this scale. It is very convenient to use and weighs almost nothing so it was easy to carry. In Italy, our luggage was weighed in kilograms on the way back. This scale displays weight in pounds or kilograms. A word of caution, you attach the scale to your luggage, lift the scale and luggage, and wait for the luggage to stabilize and the weight to lock into place. If you're trying to get as close to 50 pounds as possible and don't have the strength to keep 50 pounds on the scale, you might find this scale a bit difficult to use. Unless you need to gain every last pound, the weight on the scale doesn't change much and should be reasonable. Enjoy.
