Review on Edifier R1280T Active Bookshelf Speakers - 2.0 Stereo Near Field Monitors - Wooden Enclosure - 42 Watts RMS - Ideal for Studio Monitoring by Amar Singh ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

I bought it as a set-top box for a TV, there is something to compare with, a music center. compared to it, the speakers take up less space, the sound quality is higher, especially in the low range. Before buying, I compared the tests with more expensive options. It must be said that there is a difference. Three-way ones sound better, but this is if you listen very well. The maximum volume is enough to not really disturb the neighbors. In addition, a very democratic cost. So Edifire Konka is not a revolution in the world of acoustics, but definitely a step forward.

Pros
  • Pleasant rich sound, musical instruments are well audible, does not take up much space. A very balanced product that shows excellent results in the mids, good in the mids, and quite satisfactory in the lows.
Cons
  • low power, claimed 21 watts, but a center with similar power sounds much louder.
