X XBEN Putting Mat was ordered for home use. This mat has a great design and is about 10 feet long. The mat comes with distance markings, alignment markings and lines to help determine the correct line to the hole. According to the product description, the mat has "two differently colored mat lines with different speeds". When training with the mat, however, I could not notice any difference in speed. They looked the same to me. I liked the alignment guides and distance marks. Various distances up to 10 feet can be used for putting. Alignment aids help determine the correct spot to place feet according to that person's needs. The product description states that the putting mat will help you time. But if so, then I didn't understand how he does it. The underside of the mat is made of rubber, which prevents the mat from slipping and leaving marks on the floor. The carpet must be perfectly flat. When unpacking, however, the mat was rolled up and when I put it on the floor, it was wavy at first and didn't roll smoothly. I suggest that upon receipt it should be hung over a shower rod or other pole about 5 to 6 feet off the ground, at least overnight to flatten the mat. The rug is quite light and easy to fold up for use. The mat comes with 2 different cups, 3 balls and a carrying bag. After using the mat for a few training sessions I find that it will help me in my game. One of the reasons I like it is that the speed of rolling on the mat is very similar to rolling on the green which I play most of the time in golf. I've seen some mats that, frankly, have very slow spins and therefore don't do much to develop the golf ball's speed control. Practice laying indoors. It's longer than many exercise mats (about 10 feet vs. 7 feet), has a smooth surface, and can be rolled up and stored away when not in use. I would order again.
