Inexpensive way to fix a rattling door

Got these for my 2003 Ford F-150 Super Crew. The driver's door was caught in a gust of wind while driving through northern Arizona, causing the door to rattle a bit. After some internet research, I found out that someone had replaced these bumpers to reduce a similar rumble in their door. Changed the bumper, the knocking was much less. So for the price, these bumpers are an inexpensive solution, but only temporarily. I need to realign the door for a permanent repair.
