Review on 🚲 Saris MTR Bike Hitch Car Rack: Expandable Hitch Bicycle Rack for 1-4 Bikes with Add-On Extensions by Jason Staggs

After a pretty good start I had trouble getting the swivel out of the receiver and then with some scratches, the thumb wrench used to tighten the block to the receiver broke - and it was only tightened with my fingers and I didn't use any tools. He just collapsed. I looked at the metal and there was no bend, just crystallized metal. Which indicates a fundamental lack of material - it is most likely cheap to read. My rack was a little over two years old but I called them to get a replacement. In fact, they said I would have to buy a new part. It reminds me of the old days when we bought in Japan and China - I think the American story is that we stand behind our products and these people don't seem to support us. I'm in the process of getting another rack for totally unrelated purposes, but when I've been looking for standout ebike racks, Saris is no longer at the top of the list. Maybe it's Covid, maybe not.
