I took it to use on the D3100, but could not shoot it until I switched to the D7000. But when changing the carcass, I wanted a fix 85mm. Although the shots on it are not bad, I regretted buying it. With its pros: You won't find a better lens for this price. Lightweight and compact. Luminous, working hole. Nice bokeh. Some cons: If you take a CROP matrix, then I advise you not to take it, but rather 35mm, and if you want a portrait for street photography, then + 85mm. There is no motor on this lens and this is a VERY big problem for carcasses without a screwdriver. Believe me, aiming manually is not realistic.
