Lid is loose. It has no rubber O-ring or gasket to prevent leakage. Noticing that the airlock wasn't bubbling, unlike the other bucket, I started the mead at the same time, checked and moved the bucket, and noticed a slight spill of liquid from under the lead. I tried stuffing and closing it in all directions but the flow didn't stop. I have another bucket from a previous version that I never had this problem with. Another point I would have liked was different: I wish the bucket was wider but shorter, but that's personal preference, not as damaging as a leaking lid. I would not. I recommend this product.
