I bought this as I am coaching my daughter's soccer team this year and I wanted my phone to be handy without wearing shorts on it to have. I know the struggle of the first world. I had to remove the cover to make life easier. I have a slim case and screen protector on my XS Max. Insertion is not a problem, you have to remove the phone after it has sweated a bit to allow the screen cover to stick to the screen. It will happen. I have to use my fingers to remove it. Overall, it serves its purpose and is reasonably priced, which is why I like it. I have never used slots as I only use them for my phone.
