Not "non-slip " on hardwood floor

This rug is not non-slip. It moves around, so I have to be careful when wiping my feet. I even tried using rug tape, but the tape does not stick to the back of the rug. Other than that, the rug seems to get dirt off my shoes and absorbs small amounts of water (I haven't put a lot of water on it, just what was left on my shoes from outside rain). It is easy to vacuum the dirt off of it, but I haven't tried to wash it yet.

Pros

The mat's small size makes it perfect for apartment dwellers or those with limited space

Cons

Not effective in absorbing moisture
