For reviews saying the magnets are weak when pressed the magnets just sit in the hole so they stick to the back they have a lot better contact and they are actually very strong. One of my ceiling fans is large and right next to the HVAC unit so it blows with a lot of force and the deflector stayed in place with no issues. They are strong and hold up as described. Personally I find all air deflectors ugly but my apartment has all the ceiling vents and here is one right above my sofa and another right above my bed so I decided to give in and buy these air vents. I have another vent just above my thermostat so the temperature setting is never accurate as the air is blowing directly onto the thermostat. Now I don't have to blow myself and the temperature in my apartment is more constant. The price was very reasonable.
