Review on High Performance K&N Motorcycle Oil Filter KN-153 for Synthetic or Conventional Oils - Designed for Ducati Motorcycles (Black) by Juan Wilson

I ordered this for a 2010 Ducati 848. I think these guys have serious quality control issues with these filters. The thread on the filter I received did not match my bike. I had to force the filter into a thread on my bike and I tightened it very tight to prevent leakage. I think I made a big mistake as I don't know if I messed up the threads on my bike or not. I won't find out until the next oil change. I have used several WIX oil filters on recent oil changes and have never had a problem. I bought this filter based on the good reviews but please read carefully as some other buyers had similar issues. I hope I didn't damage my bike. I don't care about performance at the moment. Everything seems to be working fine so far, but I'm disappointed with K&N's quality control.
