I wanted to like them because they were cheap and came with a variety of plants. The longer I used them in my aquarium the more I realized that they were terrible. 1) The first thing that struck me was the insane amount of glue. No matter how much I cleaned each time I washed the aquarium, I kept finding more and more strings of glue in the water. 2) The second thing I noticed is the "weighted" bottom - is it some kind of sandy material? And now it's starting to break down making the water very cloudy/dirty. 3) The last thing that struck me and prompted me to write this review is that the "leaves" on the plants are VERY sharp. I noticed my fish didn't have a large chunk of fin and was actually bleeding. He likes to squeeze between plants and glass, so I'm sure the leaves tore his fins. I will not buy again, not recommended.
