I'm almost 5 years old and I walk almost every day, anywhere from 6 to 9 miles, sometimes on quite winding paths, and she loves her walking shoes. They didn't seem to need the breaks in their periods, she didn't complain that they hurt her legs at all, and she didn't treat the blisters. It slid and slid quite a bit and that pretty much stopped it. I would definitely buy again. I just wish they were a little bigger but they seem to be true to size. I thought they were large and pretty much true to her normal size. So if you want them to last a little longer maybe half size or full size.
