Good idea to avoid scratching pans
This is a great idea and was the only silicone or non-scratch clamp to attach to a pot that I could find anywhere. It only holds thin thermometers so remember, no thick glass thermometers. I got this because I didn't want to use the metal clip that comes with some thermometers and was careful not to scratch the sides of my Dutch Oven or other pots. That should work! They come in two packages, the second one I gave to my mother.
