Not 36W with always on option.
They sell the light as if it were 36 watts. You are not. at least if you intend to use always-on/always-on mode. I've bought several and they all do the same thing. They light up brightly and stay on, but after about five seconds they dim to about half their original level (maybe less). I'm assuming they do this on purpose to keep the heat down, but the fact remains you're not actually getting the advertised wattage per LED. This probably applies to 3 watts per LED when blinking. So unless you're planning on using the steady-on function for some light, this is a halfway decent accessory.
