We replaced our flat (not angled) 6 outlet faucet with this because 2 transformers (those big brick plugs) do most of it of which the space monopolized, so that we could not use all 6 sockets. This shop solved our problems! We were able to connect two transformers on each side and can now use all 6 sockets. The socket itself doesn't stick out much more than our flat one, but with every socket used it's kind of busy as the plugs fail. from all sides. I would recommend hiding it behind something to avoid looking unsightly. We also chose this one because it has an internal circuit breaker (chosen instead: www.amazon.com/GE-Grounded-Adapter-Spaced-Six-Outlet-Tap/dp/B0009HKEXM/). Although we have a circuit breaker at home, it adds another layer of protection. With so many devices plugged in, you don't know if something is using too much power, but when it is, it won't bother an entire area of your home and is limited to just what's plugged into that outlet.
