Good for fun and skill development

This is Baby Einstein's all-in-one gym machine. I've had two different brands for my family over time, but I really like this one. I had Tiny Love and Fisher Price rugs but I gave them to relatives when my youngest son outgrew them. Not that I had nieces and nephews in the house, I needed a replacement carpet. What I really like about this mat is that it can be used for back play, tummy play or just as a regular play mat up to about 6 months before baby starts to crawl. I've never seen one with an inflatable ab pad water mat. This one is cute because it has an 'underwater' theme, like a sea dollar, a shell, an octopus, etc. - It has lots of bright colors and different toys for kids to take away, a mirror and a fish. it is quiet and loud. It has great visual interest to keep the child's attention. The only baby rug I liked more was a Fisher Price rug from about 17 years ago that had a bird on it that actually moved and chirped and my eldest son stared at it in awe for hours. can be easily folded. I love that it's machine washable (and of course the water mat that you just have to wipe clean). - The carpet feels soft. - It is very easy to assemble. I really like this rug. For something that doesn't have a motor, it does a great job of keeping kids interested and moving.
