Really awesome. Easy enough to replace, the only tricky part is getting the old filter out of the wing, in my case it has expanded with the minerals it collected from the well water I used. The new filter is inserted directly. In fact, the genius of the filter is that it isn't encased in plastic like a Britta filter and is safe to throw in the compost heap and put back in the ground! Clear Genius lives up to its name. I am so impressed with this product. I just wish the pitcher was Pyrex and not plastic, I'd happily pay the extra price. Interestingly, it purifies water almost to the purity of distilled water. I use it in my electric water heater and it pretty much got rid of all the limescale build up on the bottom of the unit. I think that's an amazing feat for simply filtered water. Not to mention the incredibly delicious taste of filtered water. Many Thanks.
