I bought this because of the price of the Brita filters. The water tastes great and is easy on my wallet. The water tastes terrible in the area we live in, so filtration is not an option. I will continue with Clear Genius. My only regret is that their tank only holds 6 cups. With 3 people we keep filling it and sometimes we have to wait for more water to be filtered. Please clean up the genius, create a bigger bird watcher.

I like this product because the only thing that changes is the filter itself. After the first purchase including the filter and holder, it's nice to know that the extra plastic won't go to waste. Really awesome. Easy enough to replace, the only tricky part is getting the old filter out of the wing, in my case it has expanded with the minerals it collected from the well water I used. The new filter is inserted directly. In fact, the genius of the filter is that it isn't encased in plastic like a Britta filter and is safe to throw in the compost heap and put back in the ground!
