Finally, after several unsuccessful attempts, I found the USB camera I needed. Infrared light when there is no visible light. I bought a 180 degree fisheye lens that sees just over 180 degrees when paired with this camera. The metal body is good, although I plan to modify and paint it a bit. The USB cable is very long, although I didn't measure it. Surprisingly, even though the description says so, I fully expected it not to have a microphone because it was in a case. As it turns out, it has a built-in microphone, and even in a closed case it works quite well. In any case, I plan to drill a hole for better sound. Works well with Linux and in my specific case with a Raspberry Pi 3. Image quality is surprisingly good for a 2 megapixel camera and so far I'd heartily recommend it.
