It was a complete scam. It's just an overloaded FAN.

I expected my room to be very cold like the product mentioned, especially for the price. Whatever it is, it's an overpriced fan. After about an hour it starts making loud noises, very annoying and not worth the price. I wouldn't even buy it again if it dropped to $20.
