The Neato Botvac D-Series filter is extremely efficient at capturing dog hair well and you can just wipe it off a closed filter instead of keeping it in creases. This filter is a bit more expensive but does the job well. It catches dirt in the filter and prevents it from entering the engine compartment. I like the double locking to release the filter. This allows the filter to be easily pulled out for cleaning. The filter is then securely reinstalled and left in place. This filter has been in my Neato Connected Botvac for two weeks now. It has done an amazing job so far, easily cleaning up after each scheduled vacuum. I don't know how long it will be before it gets too dusty in the folds and needs replacing, but so far I'm happy with it.
