I wear these compression shorts as underwear. This brand was slightly more snug than another brand I had previously purchased. The shorts are comfortable & keep me from getting chaffed during working hours. I wear shorts during the Summer and sometimes I notice the compression shorts sticking out the pant leg if my shorts so that is something you need to be aware of if it concerns you. They are comfortable & I recommend wearing this type of shorts in place of regular underwear.
