Everything is known in comparison and I compare with my previous processor - 4690k. Heaven and earth. For my money, an excellent 6-core came out. I hope it will be the same with it as with the previous processor, I installed it and forgot it for 5 years. To compare with analogs from Intel - I do not suffer from debilizm. Therefore, plus or minus a couple of frames in games or a couple of points in the benchmark, plus or minus a couple of thousand for this - I'm not interested. I needed an inexpensive six-core, efficient and cold - I got it and I think it's worth it. Taking into account the cost of the mother on the b450 chipset, there are no analogues. The previous generation is much weaker, the new one has not yet come out and will obviously be more expensive. Excellent new architecture and Infinity Fabric, finally AMD stopped being ovens, finally there was no need to overclock both the processor and the memory. Yes, you can slightly increase the last frequency, lower the timings, but you won’t get a huge increase from this, so it has become more of an entertainment than a necessity. I attributed the price to the disadvantages - as arising from the short life cycle of this processor. AMD's plans for the development of the budget market already hint at this, that even during the year the 3600 managed to become outdated, and the price did not fall much. 3300x on 4 cores is already firmly on its heels, although it has 4 cores instead of 6. One can hope for applications where the number of cores and threads is decided, rather than the efficiency of the core itself, but there are not so many of them, and looking back at past generations, it can be seen that the same 2600 costs almost half as much as 3600 and is significantly inferior to it. Understanding this, in anticipation of the release of the 4xxx line this year, and after it the fifth one in 2022, with DDR5 support, we can say that most likely the 3600 will be inferior to the new AMD solutions of the next generations and quite strongly. So it turns out that you give 14 thousand for a very good processor, which by the end of the year will cost 11 thousand, or even less after the release of the 4th generation and will be at the level of their 4 cores.
