the bass isn't as loud as it should be I have a 12 watt Anker speaker almost identical to this one - the Bass on the TOM sounds better. They also have about the same maximum volume, which doesn't make sense to me. THIS is 20W and mine is 12W. But 12 watts sounds better. I mean - it's not a BAD speaker - it's ok but I'm picky. I have to say I won't be using that - it'll probably be a street speaker that I'll bang and bang - but if you just want something to play music - I mean - it will. But a $40 anchor is a better option. not sure if this is helpful.
