Follow directions through T: Damaged Wall

The walls of our home have been repainted (much longer than recommended in the general command instructions. Per the instructions we prepared the wall for our first item to be reweighed isopropyl alcohol). and placed the strips to hang the picture above our sofa. Although we followed the instructions exactly as described, the streaks damaged our wall. As a result, we had to patch up the damage and repaint the wall. We've since hung the painting back on the old one - formed the wall by driving a nail/picture hanger into the wall. So I'm so disappointed.
