When I opened the package there was a small black bag and it looked like there was nothing in it. This chain was hidden underneath. It's really thin and light. You cannot see the cuts that make up the design as shown in the seller's picture. However, they make it sparkle. When you wear it it seems like nothing so you don't even know it's there which I like when I just want to hang something around my neck but not a very heavy thing. It just adds sparkle to your neck, but nothing like a solid silver chain.
