I bought this for my wife's birthday so to be honest I was both angry and embarrassed when she took it out of the box. It was very cheap looking plastic. It was dirty on the bottom and looked like it had been used. I was going to send it in a batch (I've never returned anything I bought here) but the dirt - or dust or whatever - got wiped off. We put the case in the fridge for the recommended time, installed. and then put in a bottle of room temperature wine. The first thing we noticed was that the top quarter of the bottle was sticking out of the sleeve so it didn't get cold. The ad said it would chill a bottle of wine in 5 minutes. We waited around 10 or 3pm, I think the bottom of the bottle was cold to the touch but the wine was "slightly chilled" at best. I was definitely over it. But my wife liked it and wanted to try again. Since then she has used it a few more times when she left the bottle for much longer periods of time. She told me that by this time the wine was getting very cold, but as the sleeve began to melt, the wine warmed up. First, if it takes 30 minutes to really cool down, then we already have something that will; It's called our freezer. Second, if it doesn't at least "keep" cold when it finally cools down, then to me it's a complete failure.
