I put the insert in the fridge freezer. The bottle was cold but the liquid was warm. Then I took the insert and put it in the freestanding freezer. The results were the same. The bottle was cold but the liquid was lukewarm. Not impressed. Thank god I didn't spend much.

This product looks cheap. The concept you might think it works but doesn't cool warm bottles could be due to the thicker glass around the bottle. Barely chilled the bottle in a few hours. Waste of time if your wine bottles aren't already chilled.

Overall good design for the price but ice packs don't work as advertised. I put them in the freezer for about 24 hours and assembled them as directed. The wine bottle did not cool down as expected, but the ice pack got significantly hotter. Not what I wanted so I will have to return the item.

Great product! We stumbled across them while drinking wine in Spain, jumped on Revane and ordered two to wait for us when we got home. love the product. In fact, even in extreme heat, the wine stays extremely cold for hours and doesn't leave the bottle damp at all. Ordered as a gift for friends and they love it too!

A rose was served in this cooler during the wine tasting. I liked the sleek, modern style and the fact that it works. Sipping wine, looking for Revain and ordering two! My friend has the same error. Arrived in 2 days, everything is fine. Inside is a flexible piece that you keep in the freezer until you need it. It will be a great gift for a hostess along with a bottle of wine. Stylish and hits the mark. Great.

I have this version and the stainless steel version both from Vacu Vin. The opening and cooling pack is much smaller on this plastic version for some reason, so it doesn't fit many types of bottles. I can only use it with thin standard bottles - if the bottle is round or special I have to use another cooler. The stainless steel radiator also looks better and I suspect it insulates better than plastic. I'll probably throw this one away and buy a second stainless steel cooler.

I bought this for my wife's birthday so to be honest I was both angry and embarrassed when she took it out of the box. It was very cheap looking plastic. It was dirty on the bottom and looked like it had been used. I was going to send it in a batch (I've never returned anything I bought here) but the dirt - or dust or whatever - got wiped off. Waste of money. Bought and strictly followed the instructions. The package was in the freezer for 24 hours. I took the temperature of the bottle, it was room temperature, didn't fit in the fridge. Place the bag and close the lid, easy. Position the bottle as shown and time by measuring the temperature of the wine.
