Review on Concept Adapter Mirrorless Cameras Matting by Justin Guldin

Product not as advertised

I recently bought this lens adapter thinking it would go well with my As7ii but when I put it on a camera with my Canon glass it wouldn't let me change the aperture . My previous old lens adapter works perfectly, which I also bought from Amazon. I have 2 cameras and need two adapters but this one can't help me with my own projects. Initially I loved the design and hoped it would help me and my projects run more smoothly by having two cameras with their own adapter. As you can see from the photos, the new adapter does NOT have the same features as my old one. As shown, lens connection points are missing. Photo #1 shows the lack of connection points required for the lens. to clarify, i already have a lens attached, but the components are not on the adapter itself. photo #2 shows my current adapter with the necessary components that are NOT included in the new adapter to make it work properly. Photo #3 shows my camera censor with the same connectors as photo #2 but not included in photo #1. Without these connectors the adapter is useless. As mentioned above, this product is not comparable to the a7sii and Canon glass, which may not be the case with the a7r either. or any camera for that matter. I would read CAREFULLY before purchasing. I'm getting a refund. I hope you won't be disappointed with this adapter like I was.
