I ordered this filter for my classroom of about 1000 square meters. Feet, as it was the cheapest option with a UV-C and HEPA filter. Although I have no scientific evidence of this in my own class, I'm glad I'm satisfied now that the students have returned in person. Haven't used the timer or sleep function yet but I can say the noise level is amazing. Level 1 and 2 are so quiet I can barely tell they're on and I'm sitting less than 3 feet away. Level 3 is a bit louder but not at all noticeable and doesn't interfere with listening in any way - about as loud as a very small fan. Level 4 is noticeably louder, more powerful, and makes listeners a little more uncomfortable, but it probably wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't sitting next to it. After seeing this filter in action, other employees told me they had ordered one of these.
