Review on Red Line Transmission Transaxle Lubricant by Aaron Jones

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Compliments on the smooth shifting of my car.

From what I've read there's an argument that thicker liquids like this are just a patch for troublesome transfers. My 12 Honda GE8 shifts smoother, no doubt with about 50,000 miles on it. That said, I've bled the transmission many times and haven't seen any hard particles indicative of wear (metal flakes on the drain plug magnet), so they didn't fill holes, so to speak, they simply absorbed shock. and lubricate properly. Using genuine Honda fluid, it leveled out within a week (I performed the proper flushing procedures: drain, refill, run, repeat) but then reverted to its harsh nature. This stuff was a direct improvement for me. I would recommend trying it yourself. My mentality is that if I make my own service, the money saved should be reinvested in better components. Redline have always been good to me and are quite well known in the motorcycle community for their quality juice, this product lives up to their reputation. I get compliments on how smoothly my car shifts when I have passengers. what the hell right?
