Red Line Transmission Transaxle Lubricant Review

I use Redline products all the time. I've always been amazed at how well their gear oils work. My last purchase was no different. I replaced my gearbox with a lower mileage bearing I had and was only able to get Am**il brand gearbox manual lube. Had driven for 2 weeks and was very unhappy with gear changes, had a bad grinding noise when shifting into 2nd gear in cold weather. After reading many reviews on this product I decided to take a chance. I've used Royal Purple and Red Line in other cars in the past with great success, but Honda are pretty solid with their MTFs alone. Some reviews here on Revain say the Red Line helps, others say it's not as good as the Honda MTF. From what I've read there's an argument that thicker liquids like this are just a patch for troublesome transfers. My 12 Honda GE8 shifts smoother, no doubt with about 50,000 miles on it. It took about 15 minutes drive to get it working but my manual shifting went smooth much better than before. I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra S manual transmission.
