My father-in-law has moved in with us. We live about 30 miles from his former home. He has a few favorite TV channels that are not on our cable/satellite network. We tried the internal HD antenna but had problems with reception (loss of signal) so we bought this unit. Our biggest disappointment is that it's impossible to know which direction the antenna is pointing (no display) or the direction of rotation without going outside and looking at it. This requires 2 people, one of whom points the remote control at the controller and the other looks at the antenna from the outside. The movements are very jerky, not fluid. Unfortunately, to receive any channel, the antenna has to be rotated, but reception problems are still encountered. Also, the antenna moves with the wind, causing signal loss.
