I use Rose perfume in my office space, my bedroom, and in my bathroom. What I've noticed is the scent does not do well in open areas. If the space is smaller or even if the diffuser is placed in a corner, you can actually smell the scent. It didn't do well in my bedroom- we usually have an open window or ceiling fan on and same for the restroom, so the scent is very faint. I returned Lovely Peony the same day I received it. Although Lovely Peony scent was pretty, it was much too faint to enjoy. Perhaps it would be better in a very confined space. Between the two scents, Rose Perfume smells nicer and we're actually able to enjoy the scent throughout my work space.
