Big Pill, Big Pain - Amino Acids

These are large, hard tablets with sharp, unrounded edges. The label says they're coated for easy swallowing, but I can't swallow them without slicing them in two and scraping off the hard edges. They aren't clogged so I have to use a butcher knife. The label with its molecular image gives the impression, so to speak, that the content is also nicely rounded off. For comparison, I am attaching a photo of a once-a-day multivitamin pill on the left and 1000 mg of vitamin D-3 on the right, which I now take with no problem. Unless you have a really capacious esophagus I do not recommend these painful items.
