I have several devices for connecting SD cards to USB ports. Weme 2-in-1 is the most innovative and overall best yet. The design is compact yet solid, with a lid covering the USB interface so the closed device is a very thin rectangle. There are holes on one end to support standard and micro SD cards, eliminating the need for a micro SD conversion adapter. The interface is USB 3.0 so you get very fast transfer speeds and the blue light shows the device is active when connected - which was very important in my case as I used Weme to repair my Windows tablet. after a failed Win 10 update that prevented me from booting after the initial external storage check. The problem arose because I told the Win 10 updater to save my data to the tablet's micro SD card available in Windows, but NOT during the boot sequence. Weme allowed me to remove the micro SD card and plug it in via USB so that it could be seen by the pre-windows system, after which my tablet restored. The simpler adapter plugs, which only offered a micro SD hole and a USB plug, did not. It happened and I'm thrilled. I also found Transfer 3.0 extremely useful for moving photos from my standalone digital camera. Conclusion: I love the Weme 2-in-1 and will take it with me on all my trips with my tablet. Would recommend to anyone looking for a durable and reliable adapter.
