Inexpensive and not without problems, but acceptable if you take the time to set it up.
Not bad for the price. I've read a lot of complaints but my guess is that the people who wore out the belt put it on the wrong way round. The base plate is sufficiently rigid. The primary pulley looks cheap but works great. but it seems to work. Required disassembly and adjustment. I found it strange. It is likely that this could have broken the belt or thrown the locknut if it had been tightened as intended. After careful setup, however, everything works fine. I will buy another one for my next kart build.
